ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dr. Linda C. Beattie Inlow has been in the ministry for more than 25 years. She has been a parish pastor, hospital chaplain, family therapist and now writer and lecturer. She knows how varied, spiritual and personal the journey of self-discovery can be. Her own journey has included: being among the first to be ordained in the Lutheran (LCA) Church, a near fatal accident, the loss of her husband and child, raising two small children on her own, writing books and articles as well as volunteering at church, school and in the community.

Her other books concern her vocation as therapist, BECOMING ME: an autobiography for the reader to complete (09619634-3-3) this book focuses on building a positive self-esteem and self-image in children 6-12 and her hobbies, Making Soap for Fun and Profit (09619634-2-5), Making the Most of Your Llama (09619634-1-7) and THE ODD LOT: Raising Unusual Animals (09619634-5-X).

FROM THE AUTHOR: The quote from Psalm 25:4-5, which is the backbone of the book, has been my daily prayer for more than thirty years. Asking daily to know the way of the LORD, to allow God's teachings in one's life via relationships, circumstance, solitude and prayer seems a good way to continue the journey towards self-discovery - discovering what God wants me to become.

Being an author is secondary to being a mother and living with the Spirit of God in my daily journey. It is my hope that the reader/writer of Becoming Me appreciates who they are and who they are becoming.
